In tough times, the first step is to circle the wagons. Check your resources and your use of them and make immediate changes wherever you can.

Cut back on unnecessary spending, on wasteful electricity and water usage, find new, cheaper resources for products you use every day or for big ticket items and get int he habit of thinking, as my dear old granny used to say, “Every penny is a prisoner”.

Okay, so if you read this blog at all regularly, you will have come across many ways to save penny by penny. But let’s take a break from that and instead have a look at making money penny by penny.

If you spend any time at all on the internet you may have come across the names of internet marketing giants such as Darren Rowse (aka Shoemoney), Yaro Starek, the Rhodes Brothers, John Chow…

Each of these and many others like them make many thousands of dollars every month from their various online ventures and they are not shy about showing you the cheques to prove it. They are also more than happy to share the secrets of their success with you - for a hefty fee.

Another thing they each have in common is that they all started by making their first dollar. No-one leaps online to instant riches but once you have made your first dollar or first ten or hundred dollars online, you have proven to yourself that it can be done and the next part of the process is simply to refine, rinse and repeat.
